Hrm, craziness since I last posted. I don't remember exactly when that was but I'm sure it was a while ago. I feel like I'm totally being strangled by stress due mostly to school, but in general, life. Relationships are a source of predictable and steady conflict. I hate conflict and try to avoid it at ALL cost, but not everyone thinks that way, and if someone is hell bent on being upset about everything all the time, then there's not much you can do. School is really rocking me though. I'm doing well in Differential Equations. I got an A on my first test. Vector Analysis is busting me though. I totally flunked the first test and I studied my ass off for it and stressed for about a week beforehand. The band has been stressful due to our lack of practice and excess of shows. We've only practiced twice in the past 2-3 months, but we've had 3 or 4 shows with one more comming up in a couple weeks. Shows during the school week throw me off. So anyway, we've been rather sloppy at these shows, and they make me useless at school the next day. I feel like I'm drowning in a temporal sea sometimes. Then to top it all off we have the fucked up terrorist attacks. I'm really worried about Arab-Americans. I hope the dumb asses wake up and realise that they're people too, they didn't do anything wrong. But I HIGHLY doubt it because people around here disliked them BEFORE everything happened. So while people may stop beating them up, their secret prejudices are going to be intensified, because they're different. People around here don't understand anything different from themselves. I don't see the upcomming battle as a good thing. It may root out a lot of terrorists, but the side effects of the process by which that will be accomplished are going to be way bad. I see lots of Arabs in both this country and in Arab countries being mistreated...either by US Citezens, or our soldiers chasing scapegoats. Revenge is bad...Terrorism is bad...this whole thing stinks.
This would all be solved by a simple principal...'Don't fuck with other people'. Respect everyone else and leave them alone and if they do the same...harmony.
