2002-12-26 - 12:37 a.m. I guess I should give some sort of post Christmas comentary. It really didn't feel all that much like Christmas this time around. That statement gets more and more cliche with each passing year, but it's true. Family traditions die out much more readily than they start. It must be the entropy of the universe. I guess Christmas spirit peaks in the presence of children. When you were a child and had lots of cousins and other children around you, it was quite a powerful event. As you age the luster is increasingly lost, but I expect that it spikes back up when you yourself have children. I just wish it had been a better christmas. I do have some good things working for me though. I have a wonderful girlfriend and am very close to graduation. Theoretically life should be grand.
