Well, I haven't written anything in here in a long time. About a month and a half to be exact. I think about things to write in here when I'm driving, but I'm never at a computer when inspiration strikes. When I do get on the computer I'm never in the mood to type anything. Anyway, here it goes...

Things have been well for the band lately. We play shows on a regular basis, and we get along as people. We're planning a week and a half tour in late April. I don't want to jinks anything, but the planning stage is off to a good start.

I've been seeing someone since Christmas time named Angella. She's extremely beautiful. We're very different people though, and I don't know how this is going to turn out. It feels a little wierd and I don't know if that's from us being rather different, or if it would feel wierd with anybody right now. She lives in Baton Rouge, so I don't get to see her that often...only on weekends pretty much. I'm trying not to think too much about it and enjoy the time I spend with her.

I did some really painful tests and found out that it's probably NOT Muscular Dystrophy. The doctor wasn't sure what it was, but he gave me some medicine to start taking, and I have an apointment with him soon. We'll see how it goes.

I've been contemplating starting graduate school in the Fall. I'd probably start the Cognitive Science doctorate program. We were talking about a 2 week tour in September, so I'm holding off on the grad school plans to see how our April tour pans out.

I recently had this realization about racism. I've just been sensitive to all the animosity I feel from black people all the time lately. It's even on t.v., yet it's socially acceptable. I realize that they are just as racicst, and probably now are moreso racist than white people are (on average). I understand that in the past they were very mistreated, but I've never mistreated them. Compensating for past injustice by creating new injustice doesn't help anything. It's such a cheep form of humor when Black comedians make fun of white people, when a double standard prevents the reverse from happening. I find it offensive when it's always passive/aggressively joked about that all white people are racist. It just breeds resentment and disharmony.
